Warranty Information
& Claims

At Fairmont Roofing, we install premium roofing and exterior products backed by strong manufacturer warranties. Use this page to register your warranty, review coverage, or get help with a warranty claim—without digging through confusing paperwork.

Tip: Many manufacturer warranties require registration within a specific time window after installation. If you’re unsure, register as soon as possible.

If you do not see your specific product listed with a warranty registration option, it typically means registration is not required. Be sure to keep your warranty documentation and your Fairmont Roofing invoice for future reference in case you ever need warranty service or information.

Understanding Your Coverage

Warranty coverage may include both manufacturer warranties and workmanship warranties.

  • Manufacturer warranties generally cover defects in the product itself.

  • Workmanship warranties generally cover installation-related issues based on your original agreement.

If you are not sure what type of coverage applies, submit a warranty request and our team will help review your project information.

Roof Systems

GAF Asphalt Roof Systems

If your roof was installed using a GAF roofing system, you may have received either a Silver Pledge® or Golden Pledge® warranty. These enhanced warranties provide extended coverage beyond standard manufacturer warranties and must be registered with GAF.

Before registering, please check your invoice or project paperwork to confirm whether your shingles are Class 3 or Class 4 impact resistant, as this information may be required during the registration process.

GAF Silver Pledge® Warranty

  • 50-year full (non-prorated) coverage period for material defects

  • Manufacturer covers material and labor for qualifying defects

  • 10-year workmanship warranty backed by GAF

GAF Golden Pledge® Warranty

  • 50-year full (non-prorated) coverage period for material defects

  • Manufacturer covers material and labor for qualifying defects

  • 25-year workmanship warranty backed by GAF

These warranties help provide long-term protection for your roofing system and additional peace of mind.

Metal Sales Roof Systems

EPDM Rubber Roof Systems

Certain roofing systems require homeowner registration to activate and maintain full warranty coverage. After your project is completed, our office will provide you with the necessary warranty details and documentation so you can complete the registration process directly.

To register, you may need project-specific information such as the installation date, total square footage, roof size, and product details. Please note that pricing-based measurements (such as “per roll”) are not applicable for warranty registration.

For RubberAll systems, a 30-year material warranty against premature deterioration due to weathering is available when RubberAll brand adhesive is used. This warranty applies to .060 membrane systems and covers material only—it does not include labor. To qualify, homeowners must retain a copy of the invoice clearly stating that RubberAll brand adhesive was used during installation.

This warranty is transferable to future homeowners, adding long-term value and peace of mind.

Midland Overhead Doors

Warranty coverage for overhead garage doors varies depending on the specific product selected.

Most steel garage doors include a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser, covering door sections against rust-through as well as paint finish cracking or peeling for as long as they own the building.

Other components—excluding springs—are typically covered by a 5-year warranty. Warranty details may vary by model, so we recommend reviewing the manufacturer’s documentation for full coverage information.

An owner’s manual is provided with the door and includes important warranty details, care instructions, and product information. The link below also has a copy of the user manual. Please note the warranty information is on page 18.

Door warranties vary based on the specific product and components selected. To ensure accurate warranty coverage, details such as door type, model number, product name, and style are required. Material type—such as steel or fiberglass—also impacts warranty terms.

Additional components, including features like sill systems, Fusion Frame, FrameSaver frames, Trilennium locking systems, or wood veneer finishes, may carry their own individual warranties. Because of these variations, warranty coverage can differ significantly depending on the full door configuration.

Pre-finished door surfaces typically include a 1-year finish warranty.
